Christmas Concert

Sarah Bays has been the vocal music instructor at Emporia High School since 2010. She also happens to be a graduate of Emporia High and sang in the EHS Chorale under the direction of Don Grant, who inspired her to pursue a degree in music education. Bays also serves as the vocal music director for the EHS Musical each year as well as playing upright bass in the all-female folk band, The Skirts. In her spare moments, she enjoys spending time with her husband and one and a half year old daughter as well as caring for a variety of animals including goats, pigs, and chickens. The members of the Emporia High Chorale in attendance today are sophomores, juniors, and seniors. Each is a valuable member of the ensemble and has diverse interests in other academic areas, activities, and athletics. Many have been involved in choir since middle school and attribute their continued involvement to seeing Chorale perform in the annual Seasonal Celebration.
