Dyslexia Task Force and the Kansans CAN program.
On July 24, Rotarian Mark Schreiber is bringing Mr. Jim Porter, chairman of the State Board of Education to be our program. He will provide an update on the Dyslexia Task Force and the Kansans CAN program. The Task Force is a product of the 2018 legislature. One of the members of the Dyslexia Task Force is Mark Schreiber's wife, Angie, who runs Cradle to Career Literacy Center. The Kansans Can program is an initiative by the SBOE to better prepare our public schools and re-imagine how they prepare students for employment and community service.
